3 - In pronouncing and understanding.

Cause we didn’t need to speak English our teachers did it.

Vocabulary, It is easier to make sentences.

2 - When we were talking with people here on Erasmus+ with Swedish people during presentation.

Because I have to listen English and speak English to survive, I know some new vocabulary.

What has been working well with this visit?

Visits and shopping, spending time with friends, discovering Sweden.

The days in the school playing.

There was few occasions to spel to other people.

We got to know a little bit about Stockholm, we learned about the history and culture of Sweden.

What areas would you like to improve for next meeting?

4 - Walk less.

I wont be here in the next meeting.

Maybe the hotel and dishes.

I don’t know, I liked it like it was.

I would like to talk to people who know English well.

What have you learnt when visiting Sweden?

3 -There are good music bands.

The weather, the food.

4 - I have learnt Sweden history.

Many little things, there is a king in Sweden and schools are different.

I have learnt about other cultures.

I’ve learnt that Sweden is amazing. I know now how to recycle and how to protect the nature.

I have learnt how to fuse glass and stump bottles. I found our things about Sami history and Swdish culture. I observed the way of living of the Swedish people.

I have learnt how to make glass and that Stockholm is amazing and that a day can be never ending.

I’ve learnt that Sweden is amazing. We have to destroy the pollution. I know now how to recycle and how to protect the nature.

2 – That you don’t have to speak in the same language when you want to talk with people.

Something about Swedish tradition and life, making beautiful things from fabric, how water gets cleaner, Swedish games.

The Stockholm visit

This picture is taken in Poland. this was our first visit in this project. We then had prepared a little different presentation of Sweden. Now we are planning the real visit with real people in a real city.

Art craft cards from students in Rumania

In December we got some lovely artistic postcards made by the students from Rumania with snowmen 'snögubbar' and trees and flowers. Here in Sweden we still have a lot of snow, but we are hoping for Spring to make entrance soon.

The logo competition for the project.

This Erasmus+ project needs a logo to use and  wish therefore for a student proposed logo that we can send to the central website for all to vote for the one who turns out to be the most popular. All countries need to be represented in some form and the theme as well Submit the proposal by Friday this week if you want to be involved in the contest.

Visiting local authorities during our first transnational meeting

Inowrocław  ['inɔˈvrɔt͡swaf] in Poland was our first visit in this strategic partnership project.

However, before we went to this meeting we got the opportunity to get to know each other as well as the environment a little.  

We went to Toruń, a town nearby the city we stayed in.

And there we visited Copernicus House.

First trip to Poland

Our first school to wisit will be Gimnazjum nr 4 z Oddziałami Dwujęzycznymi im. Zygmunta Wilkońskiego where Katarzyna is the key coordinator for this hole project.

We will fly to Warsaw from Stockholm and from there take a train. Lori our wonderful receptionist who if the lunch ladies are our heart she will be our eyes. She have looked up the best way for us to go to Poland from Sweden.

Some bad news but also some good news

I feel happy despite the bad news about England. They could not manage the project due to some staff changes. So from eight countries we are now seven.

Back to the good news.  I will get company with me on the first rec. trip to Poland by our school lunch responsible Karin Elias. We will have a bulletin board, except for in the stairs just after the entrance, across all our clocks showing time in different parts of the world, also in the lunchroom.  At our school we have three lunch ladies.

My experience when I went to school was that these were sour and harsh. At our school, SIS, they are always in a good mood and makes so much extra for the specific moment to be a nice lunch for us
all.

One can, in a sense to say that the lunch and the staff around the lunch is the heart of the school business. They see all the children and all children know who they are. At our school, the children also has a fruit every morning. It is organically grown and tastes wonderful.
